YOUTH SUPPORT SERVICE
WHAT IS IT?
A state government funded program aimed at working with youth who are at risk of disengagement from school, family and/or the community.
GBNC’s Youth program sits within a suite of support services that cover the lifespan, that is, birth to older people.
Supporting youth aged between 8 and 21 years
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Youth Support Service offers individual support tailored to that person’s needs. To build engagement with the community and peer support, some times one-off, small group activities will be developed.
Granite Belt Neighbourhood Centre is open weekdays from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. Currently our Youth Support Service worker is available Monday and Wednesday and Friday, outside of these days other staff will be available for emergencies.
